I think the banner, stickers, and cards all sound like a good idea. Our barren booth at SCALE is kind of an embarrassment... we're a graphics app and we have the stock generic "banner" they provide us with.
Having said that, we should make the banner (quickly) using the existing graphics we have available. Take a look at the ubuntu banners I made a few year ago (cost $110 from VT printing firm):

I'd like to see what design we're going to use, it'd be great to have some materials to bring to LGM and other events too.
I've gotten some more details and pricing.
For a banner, my local FedEx/Kinkos can get them done with about 48 hours notice. That is quite doable, and probably safest for making it in time for the conference.

The retractable ones look handy, but the "Versatile" looks like it might do well. We can also get that one double-sided (aka a banner for each side). That runs $169.99 plus tax etc, and includes two 24"w x 70"h banners (each can be different).
They can also do a roll of 500 stickers for about $80, but could take 7-10 days.
For give-away stuff I'm leaning towards moo.com with some of the sticker books (postage stamp-sized, $9.99 per 90) and some mini cards ($19.99 per 100) that include info for the hackfest. Moo estimates that 100 minicards plus 180 stickers and 7 business-day shipping would come to a total of $66.72.
So going with those options the cost looks to be around $237 plus tax. How are things looking on this?
As a one-off expense I am OK with this. What designs are you planning to use? Are we going to have a formal vote?
