Background:
For producing and signing notarized releases for MacOS, Apple requires membership in their developer program. RdH self-funded his membership in 2019, and used it to produce the native macOS Inkscape packages for version 1.0. His membership expires 8th of June, 2020.
Apple also has a fee waver option that we could try to apply for, although we would likely require SFC to place the application. This may require more time and paperwork. Also it is unknown if this would impact Inkscape's fundraising efforts for the platform.
