I'm confused. How does "Each elected Member shall continue to serve on

Instead of requiring that elections take place on a two-year cycle,
the agreement requires Inkscape to have elections *at least* every
two years. So, if the Inkscape community wanted to remove a
particularly problematic committee member, you wouldn't have to wait
until the end of a "term" before that member could be voted out.
The flip side, though, is that members would not have a set term of
office. They'd serve on the committee until they resigned or were
removed via other means specified elsewhere in the section (by
community vote in an election or for lack of participation in the
committee).
I can clarify this point by editing that sentence to state "Each
elected Member shall continue to serve...until she or he resigns
from the position, or is otherwise removed from the position
under the provisions of this section."
That being said: if you would prefer Inkscape to have a set
election cycle with X-year terms, we can certainly write it that way
instead.
Overall, I've tried to avoid getting too detailed regarding the
mechanics of the electoral process in the text of the FSA. I'd
rather allow the committee to modify the electoral process without
having to amend/update the entire FSA. But, if by doing so, I've
introduced ambiguity, let me know, and we can add more structure
here. But, bear in mind that changing the terms of the FSA down the
road will require more work than modifying the election rules (which
would only require sending an updated written description to
Conservancy for our consent, such consent not to be unreasonably
withheld).
