Just to be pedantic, they're silencing the largest instances not blocking them. Which, means that the art posts are visible externally on them but they go into a more manual moderation state instead of being automatic.

It's possible vectors may choose to move instances and this vote might

unfortunately be just at the wrong time. We should keep this idea open

for whichever instance our account ends up on.

Makes sense, it should be what ever instance they decide to have our account on.
