Hi Johan,
Thanks for the prompt to write something about the book. I received "A Tour of C++" by Bjarne Stroustrup. The book is most useful as a reference, explaining lots of aspects and designs that go into making C ++ and the ways people generally make programs in C++.
What I found missing from the text was more practical experimentations. I find myself having to read it a few times over before any of the information seems to sink in and this might be become I'm a more practical learner.
I would recommend the book to anyone as a reference, but perhaps a companion book or tutorial set to expand it's effectiveness.
Best Regards, Martin Owens

Have you read the book, liked it, tossed it, wished for something else, recommended it, have it next to your keyboard, gave it to a friend, never looked at it, read front to back, read specific parts, etc..
