I talked with Nathan Willis a bit about this at TXLF. He said the GIMP AirBNB was nice, but probably not big enough for what we wanted. He mentioned that there was basically an apartment complex that was mostly AirBNBs as well near by. I haven't looked into that yet. It does look like there are some options. I also mentioned to him about the idea of inviting other graphics projects and seeing if their US contributors were interested. I'm not sure it's something we'd want to do the first time around, but if we do it and have success, it could become an interesting event. Ted

Hey, just a note I haven't forgotten about this; we are targeting the Dec round so we have some time. My next steps are to determine total budget we need to raise and have the donate button set up so we can fundraise and advertise it.
