Hi board,
I've put together all the elections (including the 2006 non-election) into the website, so we have a record of what happened in inkscape history.
https://inkscape.org/en/*board
See the links on the right.
It took a while to piece together, although frighteningly the 2015 election is the one that is the worst in terms of data. We poured so much data into the conservancy site, that now that it's down, all those emails that link to it for further details are not useful.
If there's any corrections let me know.
Best Regards, Martin Owens

Thanks, this looks really good.
Do you think it would be interesting to know who the outgoing board member(s) was that prompted the election? Or perhaps it might be useful to show the final team membership with the electee included?

Would it be useful to ask for a backup/datadump of that stuff for our records?

I think the idea is sound, but the structure of the person.Team / person.TeamMembership vs. the structure of elections.Election elements, make the process pretty impossible. Elections don't store membership transitions and team memberships don't know anything about elections.
It'd be possible to show a date based history as just a team piece. Maybe even embed that in. But it'd be a lot of work.
What we have right now is the details in the notes at the top. Most of them specify the members who are stepping down and the memberships are up to date (except for mentalguy who is anon and has no account to link) from the team page.

We should indeed. Alas, I fear I would put my foot in my mouth if I were to demand the data.
If you can get the data, I'll amend the log. We can pretty much store anything in the log regarding the election, not all of it needs to be rendered on site.

The TeamMembership has joined/expired dates. Make sure those dates correspond to when the person was elected and resigned, respectively, then you should be able to identify team composition at a given point in time.
This wouldn't handle people who join the board, left, then rejoined a second time, but so far no one has left/rejoined so we can ignore that.
Fwiw, this would actually solve a (small) problem that's come up in the past - the Conservancy has asked about board membership in the past, and while I think they now have all the data themselves, the tool you've made would be a far more pleasant way to track it.

Ah true, I hadn't even noticed that text.

Ok, I've asked Karen. I'll let you know if anything comes of the request.
Thanks, Bryce
