Alex has tentatively reserved a place for the hackfest. He needs to know ASAP if he can go through with the reservation. The rough cost is:
For ten people (the number signed up at the moment):
Room: 150£ per day: 450£ Tea, coffee, biscuits: 5£ per person per day: 150£ Finger buffet: 8.50£ per person per day: 255£
Total: 955£
Exchange rate: 0.69£ to 1 US$ $1383
This seems like a reasonable amount to me.

Heh, I'm going to be missing out! :-)
My guess is that the cost is going to fairly directly offset the expensed amounts for going out for coffee and snacks. Do they have a minimum # of people?
Do we need to spin a re-vote on this, or is this adequately covered by the vote we already did?
