I seem to be missing the part of the discussion prior to Martin's email to the board. Would you mind re-posting that here? I've granted a permission to let you mail the board alias directly.

We currently have three active sponsorship efforts under way, which the Inkscape board has already pledged $500 to each. These are:

1. Box Blur 2. Remove GList/GSList 3. SVG2 flowed text

These three are still open (they've not been assigned out), so further donations to any/all would be welcomed.

The board is also looking at pledging $250 each to three additional projects; the amount is agreed on and budgeted, but the projects have not yet been determined. So if you have particular features you'd like to help sponsor, we may be able to lend some dollars there too.

I'll also add that we earlier had a request from a sponsor regarding sponsorship levels, and have identified recognitions to provide sponsors at several levels. We're working on crafting a pretty web page to show these, but if you're interested I can send you the raw details on that.
