Dear PLC,
Under the "Contributor Hardware Policy", I'm requesting a Mac mini in order to work on cross-platorm issues in GTK4. Requested machine:
Mac mini: Apple M2 with 8 core CPU, 16 GB memory, and 512 GB SSD. 1268 € Magic Keyboard English/US. 109 €
See https://www.apple.com/fr/shop/buy-mac/mac-mini
René suggests that 16 GB of memory is the mininum for compiling Inkscape quickly. Mikekov suggests getting an Apple keyboard to check for shortcut inconsistencies between Linux/MacOS.
Thanks,
Tav
So if I understand the process here Jonathan:
1. Any questions about the request go as replies to this request 2. If not issues, then one member of the PLC posts this as a vote (with abstains etc) 3. If it passes, then this gets sent to the SFC 4. Machine gets ordered by the SFC and sent to the recipient 5. We write this down in the wiki or somewhere useful
Is this right?
