Hey all,
So I'm sure you all saw Karen reach out to member orgs for help with manning their booth at OSCON. I would be willing to go help them do this, however, I would need some funding assistance from the project to make it happen. As they had said, we would be able to promote our project there and I feel like it might be good to reach out at a higher profile event like this. I would also seek outside donation to our project to help facilitate this but wanted to bring it up to see if other board members feel like this is a worthwhile cause. Thoughts?

I'm in Reno. I talked to the conference chair from SCALE and our conference's 501(c)3 umbrella org has a booth so I could get some funding if I do some booth duty there as well. So yeah, the costs would be travel and hotel with some of it covered.

Sounds quite sensible. We budgeted $1000 for "Other Events" for 2016, and this would certainly fit that. Does $1000 sound like a reasonable ballpark to cover expenses for all attendees?
Josh, would you mind drafting a referendum that I can post for a vote on this?
