Outreachy was mentioned in the board meeting again today, and I took an action to review what had been decided by the board for Outreachy funding previously. https://alpha.inkscape.org/board/referendums/resolutions/outreachy_2018.html So it looks like last time, we were anticipating some external sponsorship, so voted to establish a way for sponsors to tag their donations to the program. I checked our donation records and there were no contributions tagged for outreachy, so I think no funds were raised. However, the resolution was not year-specific, so if we were to solicit sponsorship for outreachy I believe the financial bucket is there for it. There is also the option to sponsor the students ourselves, at $6500 apiece. However, a more important initial requirement is to identify a coordinator to run our end of the project.
