The price of swag (Bug Migration Game)
So, I got an initial quote for the bug stickers, and we are looking at about £50 for the special bugs, and another £50 for the award stickers, which isn't too bad.
This does not include mailing costs to ship out the swag, but I'm hoping it's not more than £100 to do that.
Can I get approval for £200 for stickers+ shipping? I'll of course try to come under budget for the lot.
Also, we wanted to offer some big prizes for the top bug wrangers. Any ideas on what? And what the budget might be for acquiring/shipping these items?

hahaha. You might be sorry about that prize! At some point a mug would be a far better deal. ;)
I was thinking of a bug-mug with all 20 special bugs printed around the sides as one option for the top three.
Maybe: 3rd prize is a bug mug 2nd is a bug mug + Inkscape waterbottle 1st is mug+waterbottle+inkscape pollo shirt (just got a confirmation of a black version coming beginning of next month)

I think maybe a normal mug, but with a certificate? I know they're cheesy, but you can get a photo and awarding someone in person (if possible) is always nice.

Seems reasonable and straightforward. I went ahead and posted the vote. How many stickers would this be for, are you figuring?

We can do a separate vote for this once it's figured out. We should have a bit of extra time on the big prizes since they'll come later. Maybe we can get some good suggestions once things get started.
How many items are we talking about for prizes?
Also, will the prizes all be determined and sent out at once (at the end of the game), or are they items sent once people reach a defined threshold? If its the latter, then budgeting will be tougher since we won't know definitively how many items we will need total.
