How strange?! It is now OK on my system too. I was reproducible just a few minutes ago and changing the filter quality did not solve any issue. I even tried to reopen the files I had open but the rendering stays OK. Temporary glitch of the X server maybe.
Anyhow, sorry to have bothered you all with this.
