This and other examples do not convince me. An ideal _bitmap_ export dialog must:
- stay open as you work
- track your selection
- have the filename field which fills itself in as you change selection
- have fields for area and w/h/resolution which also fill itself in as you change selection
The current one has all this, and it's by far the most convenient among all I've used anywhere (even though it does not have a preview and a few other things). NONE of this is necessary for vector export; it's an entirely different operation. Even if you try to cram vector formats into this bitmap export dialog, the abundance of bitmap options (even if grayed out!) will scare away a user who needs a simple equivalent of "save as EPS". So I object to combining it all into a single Export command, not to mention a single dialog. Even the current situation with vector export being in "Save as" is much better than this.
Export Again (definitely useful)
Surely we have that capability for bitmap exports - just leave the dialog on and click Export again and again.
