It looks like there's an undergoing effort to rebrand Inkscape. The final aim is unknown to me. Anyway I've a rough idea, as I've just found this: http://sauveros.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2...
So, please read *very carefully* the term of the GPL licence (available in the COPYING file in inkscape source tree).
