Forgot that the Inkscape mailing list defaults to replying only to the sender rather than the list...

Hello Chris,
I did the most recent changes in the installer. I welcome any help and advise.
I made a wiki page http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Win32_Installer but this might not be up to date.
I'll check that out later today, going to school as soon as I've written this.

Things that where on my agenda are:
- let the user choose language: there is an issue in launchpad
I can do that easily, and will do so.

- check what is needed for a portable apps package
Inkscape Portable, which I work on at PortableApps.com edition is perfect, except for the GTK file chooser bug mentioned, which leaves a file behind in APPDATA.  While I can fix that in the launcher, it's more difficult and complex than it should ever need to be, and fixing it upstream is better.

- create a msi package: there is an issue in launchpad
I don't think that this is a good idea; an NSIS installer is better all round in my opinion, and it's what we've already got.  I'm not aware of any benefits we could get from having an MSI package.

I also remembered a couple of other things; the uninstall log file stuff, I can simplify that also with FileFunc macros, and will do that later.  The other thing is a question - why is "-1" appended to the installer filename, e.g. inkscape-0.46+devel-1.exe?

I'll continue with my next stages of development on it, and then send what I've got around again, and it should be ready for commit (it's already ready for commit, I'm just not finished with it).

Thanks,
I don't need a quote in my signature.  It's hard enough surviving as it is without having to find a meaningful quote.  Will you forgive me?  Or don't you read this bit?
