That's the problem I'm having on 64-bit Windows.

I have successfully built on both Windows 8 and Windows 7 for 64-bit Windows (I can verify this by checking 64-bit-only registers in gdb)
In the meantime, would you bother to rehost that file somewhere that has a faster download rate than 500kB/s and has resume support? That kind of irritated me. (The file is 435 MB and takes quite a lot longer than it should to download.)
