In Indesign you have two screen modes:
- Normal with objects visible outside the document borders.
- Preview mode where you only see things inside the document borders.
You can "fake it" by creating a locked upper layercontaining a large rectangle with a hole the same size as the page, then toggle the visibility of that layer.
