Greetings, Please raise this issue with the inkscape project at: <snip>
Wow... that helpdesk response was less than helpful. If I'm not mistaken, the page with our svn info is automatically generated by sourceforge. It would have been nice if he had said what issue to raise with us... such as, SF only supporting the original layout of the repository, our project having the ability to change that page and not knowing it, etc... anyone else know if we can change that page and it's just not obvious? Do any of the project founders that have "the keys to the shop" have that ability?
I poked around a bit but there doesn't seem to be any obvious way to edit that page. From what I know about how the SF site works, I am very doubtful they'd grant edit access to a page like that.
What you might do is try and find another project that uses subversion and see if the same error exists there, then send a bug report with a subject like "SourceForge Subversion Directions on Web are Incorrect" mentioning that it is the standard text for projects and it is wrong.
If you watch SF's queue, you can see they get a LOT of tickets, and they get a lot of grumpy people, so I think they like spending the least amount of time on any given ticket. When you do reports to them, keep it short and blunt, with keywords that'll make it extremely obvious how to route it.
