I'm trying to help here guys, sometimes when people make comments without any context or not knowing the discussion that has happened before, it is frustrating. As for the redesign, I would like to re-iterate that it is not just a skin or design change, a lot of thought process has gone through in terms of making the tools more accessible and more user-friendly.
Inkscape is a great tool in terms of its feature set, there are certain features in Inkscape which are not even available in commercial softwares. But it can be more clean looking and more user-friendly to make those features more accessible.

Even if you don't want to consider my design I suggest you guys find a UX guy to relook at Inkscape's user interface. It can really go places if you make it more user-friendly and professional looking.

GTK+3 styling is CSS-based.
