FYI, we're in the starting stages of a redesign of the interface as we adopt Gtkmm. This has been badly needed for a while; many of the dialogs were quick hacks to get functionality exposed rather than to provide a good design. So we're going to depend heavily on users to help ensure we end up with a good design for the dialogs, and you'll see this discussion on the lists. You've joined at an opportune time. :-)
