Thanks for noticing, I didn't know about this feature. IIRC there are 4 things left to fix: 1. Ctrl+Alt node drag (snapping to perpendiculars). This requires some fixes to snapping in general, to remove the pointless "node to constraint" snap indicator in the selector tool as well 2. Crashes when undoing an action that creates an LPE while one of its parameters is edited. 3. Other odd crashes when undoing. 4. Flowtext rectangle editing. 5. Pressure sensitivity when sculpting (if I figure out a sensible behavior for it)

Same for masks and clipping paths -- you cannot edit them, only the objects that are clipped or masked,
You can edit them, but they must be paths. Multi-shape editing isn't implemented, and it's a rather substantial piece of work, so do not expect it to be in 0.48 (I haven't even started on it yet :( ).
