Hi,
There's a very annoying bug with grid settings that has been introduced a few revisions back already and I've just found the time to report it: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/172778 I can't remember who was working on the grid stuff so I could not assign it. If somebody could.
In addition to what's reported in the bug, I noticed that sometimes grid settings would change on their own, when editing something in the document. But I could not reproduce this so I did not include it in the bug report. If someone noticed the same behavior repeatedly, please add your comment to this bug.
