Yep, it crashes in Pixman, I can't say why.
I've replaced the test file with another one built with cairo-1.12.8. It doesn't crash, and isn't slow on my i5 computer. (ftp://download.tuxfamily.org/inkscape/inkscape-12282-cairo-1.12.8.7z).
