I'm just assuming a bulk of the savings is due to not dealing with icon checking and rendering, the fontconfig overhead, or interface & widget construction.

Wow. That's impressive. I can't check the file sizes at the moment, but
is there anyone with more insight into inkview who can comment on this
HUGE difference? (And whether this is typical or dependent on the
system, file, etc.)
