Sure, I have a custom extension which stopped to work recently:

** (inkscape:17489): WARNING **: Extension definition started with <inkscape-extension> instead of extension:inkscape-extension. Extension will not be created.

** (inkscape:17489): WARNING **: Unable to create extension from definition file /home/b/.inkscape/extensions/qwerty.inx.

Just take any inx from before the namespace change and you'll see the same.
