These are synonyms I guess. Just a gradient which goes along the circular arc around a center, impossible to emulate with linear or elliptic because it requires a smoothly changing rate of color change as you go farther away from the center.
OK. There are more issues with this patch in fact. E.g. when you select a color stop, it will always be black in the bottom indicator and in fill'n'stroke dialog. So whether or not we are accepting it in some form, it really needs some extra work.
