[Inkscape-devel] keeping one single inkscape process

Hi,

Is it possible to hook into an existing inkscape process. I thought sodipodi had an command line option --unique once which made sodipodi use an exiting process when opening a new file. Gimp has a utility called gimp-remote which has the same functionality.
