your mail was long, and I'm not 100% sure if you mentioned anything about this:
Right now with canvas coordinates when I move a object, the gradient stays where it is, showing different parts of it. I read something about rotation, where it was easy to caculate the right transformation, so I hope that this applies to moving aswell, since a gradient that doen't move is quite useless most times.
