I just committed fixes to the most important blur issues. There are still display bugs remaining, but at least, fixing those bugs won't make old files look different - i.e. in almost all cases, our rendering of blur now matches that of Batik. So I'd say blur is in a releaseable state now.

What has been committed so far needs quite some work to not be a regression.
