For example, you might see something very similar to this screenshot in a "feature" icon, and be able to tweak that a little, rather than having to start from scratch with strange numbers and rules?
It probably is similar to L-Systems in blender but only 2d. I've only known about L-Systems since Monday. I found them while I was looking for extension ideas.
It sounds line you are suggesting a favorites-like approach to saving effect preferences. I don't think it is possible with the current implementation. We'll have to see what Ted thinks.
