I just did the following:
- manually blew off everything in C:\Program Files\Inkscape - installed from Inkscape-0.47pre2-1.exe - ran Inkscape, changed a couple of preferences - closed it down - ran Add/Remove Programs and uninstalled Inkscape
I was prompted to save my customisations, this option was checked by default and I left it checked
- the uninstalled completed and Inkscape is no longer listed as an installed program
So far so good, except that C:\Program files\Inkscape is still full of stuff. As far as I can see, nothing was deleted. inkscape.exe is still there, bunch of DLLs, etc, lib, python and share directories.
