I am a student aspiring for GSOC 2010. To begin with, I would like to mention that I had used inkscape previously for creating games, amongst which one was ECG simulation. As far as developing for inkscape is concerned i would honestly admit i have no experience. I have a good knowledge in GUI development in JAVA and QT. With my skill set(mentioned in my resume), I am not sure as to what task could be assigned to myself. Although I would like to mention that in my previous works and projects I was always unaware of the technology used, yet I was always able to complete them successfully because being a Software Engineer it is my belief that everything is achievable if the problem definition is clear. With this I would request the mentors to kindly go through my resume(please do not just reject my approach to you just because I am new to inkscape development). Waiting for your response.
