Here's a first attempt at Universal packages of Inkscape 0.44pre4. It is basically a composition (using lipo) of the existing 0.44pre4 package with a Mactel compilation of 0.44pre4 from SVN. I have tested it on a MacBook Pro and PowerBook G4, both running OS X Tiger, and things seem to work fine. Please hammer it :)

Not sure if I should be sending this to inkscape-testers as well -- if so, can someone forward this email? Thanks.
Nice work David, I think you just beat me to it. I've just uploaded a Universal package to the file releases built using lipo from your Mactel package and the PPC one: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/inkscape/Inkscape-0.43%2B0.44pre4-1.UNIVE...
I'm just downloading yours now to see if there is any difference between the two.
In answer to your previous emails, your Mactel packages looked fine and included everything they were meant to. I did notice that they were built from SVN rather than from the 0.44pre4 tarball. It's probably safer to built them directly from the official tarball.
As for LCMS, I don't think it makes a difference if the option is enabled, as the default behaviour is to enable it if the dependency is there. Anyway, I used your matching package with mine, so all should be well.
Cheers, Michael
