Today I got a mail from developers of a new SVG cleaning app called... *drumroll*... SVG Cleaner :)

Source code is at Launchpad:

bzr branch lp:svg-cleaner

There are builds for Ubuntu:

The app seems capable, developers are seeking input from experienced users.
