C R made me aware that deselecting nodes in 0.92 can be done not only with Escape key, but also by double-clicking with left mouse button on empty area.

This is in contrast to 0.91 and earlier versions, when a single click made that happen (which was quite annoying to be honest, so I'm happy for this change to happen in 0.92).

However, the Select Tool still uses single clicks to deselect objects.

Is this inconsistency intentional...?

Doesn't it make sense to have double-clicks to deselect objects just as is the case for nodes?
