[Inkscape-devel] closepath?

Hi all,

I noticed that inkscape will add a Lineto and explicit coordinate values to the end of any paths that have a closepath command (e.g. from an external source.)

(I'm running 0.41 if that makes a difference.)

This lineto does get followed with a closepath command, so I guess that would take care of the linejoin issue (though how to join at a zero-length edge seems rather indeterminate.)

Is this a desired behavior? If so, why?
