Hello I have fixed this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/601719
But now I have second thoughts with regards to putting the fix in 0.48.x branch, since it changes strings. Should I back it out?
How many messages are affected?
3 strings: 2 descriptions of node selection are changed (the "x of x nodes" is replaced with a %s) and there is a new plural form for the "x of x nodes" sentence.
Because POTFILES.in was updated in r9714[1], to update po(t) files will make many fuzzy and untranslated strings. As for ja.po, there are 91 fuzzy and 72 untranslated strings now though it was completed except for unimplemented features before the commit. Moreover, I noticed that the strings in 0.48.x branch is sometimes updated after that because there were 88 fuzzys and 72 unstanslateds as of 2010-11-12.[2]
Please (re)consider/review above or any other changing and give translators enough time before releasing 0.48.1 if those changes are necessary.
Kind regards
