Hi,
"Text Outline File" -- what's a "text outline"?
I think this means: "Textual file describing outline"
outline2svg.pl "This is a script to render a plain text outline file into SVG"
which to me means the text from a plain text file (perhaps a draft containing a list of label) will be inserted into a document as SVG text items. this would be significantly faster than cutting and pasting them in one by one, which could be rather useful.
The fact that you need to ask shows the need to keep the default English as clear as possible since so many non-native English speakers need to understand it too.
Wireframe view, as in View->Display Mode->Outline (see latest screenshots for many examples)
Hmm, I don't think that's the sense of "outline" in this particular case.
I reiterate my request to drop the use of outline in the context of Wireframe to help avoid such predictable ambiguity. Outline is too generic, Wireframe is just right and the feature has been frequently been described as such throughout development so it came as a surprise that it ever got named "Outline View".
stringfix: Wireframe mode, dont call it Outline https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1538427&gr...
