Hi! ...
(Let alone the fact that this installer crashes during installation on my machine and required installation via the command-line)
Kalimera Spyros,
pls can you explain mor detail about that. I have no problem running the installer I have WinXP SP2
What dialogs had the installer passed already? Are you trying to work as non-admin? What is your OS?
Kalimera! :-)
First of all, I am complaining about the PyXML installer, not the inkscape one.
I am working as a non-admin, in a windows XP SP2 machine. The PyXML installer detects automatically that PyXML should be installed into the main python path c:\Python\Lib\site-packages, doesn't bother asking me for another directory, tries to open the file (which can't access) and crashes.
The command-line command "python setup.py install --prefix="c:\another\path\site-packages" worked fine where the user-friendly UI installer failed.
