I like you mockups, however I dont understand the above.
I can imagine the following option too: snap guide to bounding boxes snap guide to nodes snap guide to paths snap guide to grid
Maybe there is a need for this possibility too. I can imageine a scenario for this.
Or the current development is limited, and it cant be *now* adjusted?
If is it the case we can have the dialog and the not implemented section we can grayed out;)
