I know I've asked this before and there was some simple hot key to switch the radial gradient from inside to outside - but after 30 minutes of searching and trying dragging the nodes around (asymmetrical was easy, not complete invert) So I can't find the hot key - can someone help again ? Can this be documented better - I couldn't find it in the hot keys list, nor under the tutorials, nor in the "inkscape manual" - maybe it's there somewhere but not obvious (at least to me).
Shortcut: Reverse gradient definition (Gradient tool): Shift+r http://inkscape.org/doc/keys047.html#id2252084
Inkscape manual: Adjusting Gradients - Reverse gradient definition http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Attributes-Fill-Stroke.html#id4388474

thks - that's a newer key list than I had found thru google search.
But here's a weird thing - if you draw a rect - then click on the radial gradient fill - then shift + r - nothing happens. Even if you click on the node button which gives adds the gradient adjust handles - then shift + r - nothing happens. This is what was stumping me. But click on the gradient edit button - then shift + r does reverse the gradient.
This is probably something to add to tavmjong's "manual" - the section on gradients is very detailed (thks!) but the reverse operation is probably fairly common and this little footnote might be helpful to others.
