For some reason the rendering test bugs/bug181995.svg now gives a blur that is wider than it is tall (which is not the intended effect). The normal blur test still passes though, so it might have something to do with transforms.
I filed a bug at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/395197
In addition livepatheffect/ruler.svg suddenly renders differently (in a relatively subtle way), someone who knows what the intended effect is should have a look to see what's best (I haven't filed a bug).
