And now another problem...

Did someone have a problem with ""ld: i386 architecture of input file CMakeFiles\inkscape.dir\objects.a(inkscape-x64.rc.obj) is incompatible with i386:x86-64 output" on Windows? It appears during linking inkscape.exe and inkview.exe.

Adrian

It works. Thanks Eduard!

I think, this workaround should be added to wiki in section "In case of problems".

As a workaround you can try to delete " CMakeCache.txt" as well as the folder " CMakeFiles".

This fixed a sigc++ error for me last time. Obviously there's something strange going on, though,  so the cmake guys should really look into it...

Eduard

This segfault is really weird, because in line 1444 there is no file loading.

I've done everything from http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Compiling_Inkscape_on_Windows_64-bit, but when I type
cmake -G "MinGW Makefiles"
..
pkg_config can't find
sigc++2.0.

I'm a Windows 10 user (think you have to be if you're using the latest

I was able to build only after adding -DLIBXMLPP_BUILD to
CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS. Without it, I got lots of refrences to symbols that
start with __imp which means Windows DLL functions, while you're
building libxml++ statically.

I was going to try it and see how much faster my massive SVGs load,
but it crashed:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Why can't you build it on Windows? I use a MingW 64 cross compiler setup.
