I'm very surprised to read that since i'm working in a help content since the firstdays of inkscape. See user_manual branch of the SVN. It is not the first time i notice it is forgotten. So the real question is : should i keep loosing time in maintaining it if the team and the users don't use it.
Cedric,
The only way to help people appreciate your work is to get acknowledged ;-)
If we take a look at http://www.inkscape.org/doc/index.php?lang=en, we won't see mentioning User manual by you, only "user manual by Kevin Wixson" that isn't even hosted at inkscape.org.
I suggest two things:
1. Host HTML version of your user manual at inkscape.org 2. Fix http://www.inkscape.org/doc/index.php?lang=en to mention a) availability of docs b) ways to contribute to them.
