I cannot reproduce this crash with the latest CVS, so I have to guess:
if you have ~/.inkscape/preferences, delete it, restart inkscape
if the problem persists, please send me your ~/.inkscape/preferences.xml
- i suspect there's something wrong with your options.nudgedistance value
I was just trying to use the arrow keys to move an object and inkscape crashed. Sucks because I lost the changes to the document I was working on. I did a few experiments and it seems that moving a selection with the arrow keys is broken.
This line M 100 100 L 100 200 moved here after pressing right arrow or alt+right arrow M -1.34217e+09 100 L -1.34217e+09 200
Inkscape will likely freeze or crash if you try to move objects a few times with the arrow keys.
