So many features I want, so little time to train developers to make them. :-/
The ordering and connecting/gluing nodes and edges is a huge deal for making artwork. Many strategies for using groups are broken in svg because of the way ordering and grouping are the same system, but we could probably do a lot with some non-standard svg if we ever wanted to emulate it.
