0.44.1 is not 0.44-1! That would be 0.44.1-1 then...

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to these nomenclature things. I just thought it would be difficult to release a new version while Inkscape trunk does not compile on a specific platform. But maybe I am not trying to compile the right thing, maybe I should compile a release branch or something. Could you enlighten me please?
