Hi all,
today I merged the updated devlibs64 branch and updated build-x64.xml files in Inkscape trunk and 0.91.x branch accordingly.
* If you want to give it a shot and compile Inkscape yourself please follow the updated instructions in the Wiki [1].
If you used to compile 64-bit versions of Inkscape on Windows before be sure to a) Update your version of MinGW-w64 to stay compatible with the updated devlibs64 b) Run 'btool clean -file build-x64.xml' to remove files compiled with previous library versions in order to prevent incompatibilities c) Run 'bzr pull' to get the latest revision (including the updated build-x64.xml file)
* If you just want to try out a current build you can find 7-Zip archives on my Google Drive [2]
There's also a GTK+ 3 build of trunk available! It's nowhere near being usable in production but it doesn't crash and shows that the updated devlibs64 can handle GTK+ 3 builds.
Be sure to let me know if you encounter any issues!
Best regards, Eduard

Hi all,
I'm happy to announce that the update for the 64 bit devlibs is complete.
Current Inkscape builds of trunk and 0.91 branch using the new devlibs64 (as well as the build files that produced them) are available from my Google drive [1].
I urge you to test the new branch [2] to rule out any regressions I might have overlooked.
If no unexpected issues emerge and nobody has any objections I'll merge the updated branch in about a week from now and start to update the build instructions in the Wiki accordingly.
Best Regards, Eduard

Hi all,
as some of you might already have noticed I'm working on a major update for the win64 devlibs. Current status: Both trunk and 0.91 build fine and seem to work without obvious flaws on my system!
Most of the binaries are contributed by Partha Bagchi whom I'd like to thank very much again! Almost all dependencies were updated to the latest available version and rebuilt from scratch with gcc 5.3.
Although work is not yet finished I'm at a point were I'd like to encourage you to test my changes:
If you want to compile Inscape from scratch you can do that as usual [1].
However you'll need a checkout of the updated devlibs branch, see https://code.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape-devlibs64/5.3
The updated compiler is available as part of a MinGW-w64 package available from https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64/files/Toolchains%20targetting%20W...
Lastly you'll need an updated build-x64.xml. I temporarily uploaded a copy for both trunk and 0.91 branch to my Google drive, see https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3IZiqBj23X1My1CaUE2NjlpVms
If you want to start testing right away, I also provided pre-built packages available from the same link https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3IZiqBj23X1My1CaUE2NjlpVms
I'll push some further smaller updates in the coming days. If no bugs or regressions are discovered I'll propose to merge the update after that.
Thanks for testing, Eduard
